    TIMSHEL0703 ....

Nicely put. This is what I keep on emphasizing that ask questions because you need an answer , not ask questions because my answer is better than yours.

    To the rest ....

Keep your questions to yourselves if you have your own set of answers . It will make you look stupid .

Daghan gihapon wala naka gets unsay QUESTION and ANSWER portion.

    Next question please.

I have a question in this passage, because it's what's been bothering me kay a friend of mine kept posting sa fb:

    2 Samuel 7:12-16
" And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever."

Is Jesus being referred here by God? But why is it that it meant like, Jesus was hanged on the cross because he failed to do what God sent him to do?

the term is not "missing" but instead, "not added". the catholic bible have books added to it and some verses omitted. try looking for Matt 23:14.

old testament scriptures oftentimes point to the coming messiah. though these verses have something to do about God's message to David through his messenger Nathan, it also gives a glimpse of what God wills in the new testament.

Jesus never failed. his crucifixion marks the success of his mission in the first place.
