i am planning to get magento also...practical ba maghimo ug ecommerce nakabase sa cebu? paying them monthly while naay free sa multiply, ebay.ph ug facebook...gaduha duha pa ko

If naa mo'y questions regarding Magento "Frontend Development" ask lang basin maka tabang ko. Frontend dev lang ha. Yaw lang kanang core na jud.

Theme from scatch, banners, static blocks, xml etc...

Maglisod ba mo pangita kung asa mag edit files sa Magento template?

Enable ?debug code on the url:

1) app/code/core/Mage/core/block/Template.php
2) add the line below inside public function getShowTemplateHints()
if (isset($_GET['debug'])) return true;
3) save

so example:
sa url type ang ?debug sa end ka url
http://localhost/samplesiteaddress/?debug
http://localhost/samplesiteaddress/checkout/cart?debug
http://localhost/samplesiteaddress/c.../account?debug

advice: Don't enable this on the livesite especially naka on ang Cache sa Magento Admin. Sa local lang or sa devsite lang gamita.

Nice one bro. Usually akong gamit pra ma on ang hints ky ani: system->configuration->developer->Main website->debug->set Yes and template path hints. Tiresome au nga procedure mas cool imong style. Thanks!

Wa ko kagamit ana sang una. Cge ko google para makahibaw kung asa dapit ang template nga dapat e-edit. Regarding kung asa nga xml mag edit, naa pud na daw hints but wa pako nakatry kung asa nga file mag add sa code.

Walay admin activity logs and banners, Full Page Caching ang Community. No idea kung unsa pa ang wala nga feature sa Community
