Why do we have to depend if abnoy's admin will do it or not? We, the people have the power. But a lot of us are not completely aware of that power. If they do, then they're just complacent & let things happen as they are, complain about it & not actually do anything at all to solve the issue.

As what I've said, we need to be practical in your saying "Once mahitabo ni, then that's the time we should discuss who'll become the next leaders in our country.". I agree that we need to change or rather create a new constitution but its something that will not happen two years from now. And since it will not happen, elections will still push through. What will you do then? Will you boycott from voting? People power, I say, is an abused approach because some used that for their personal interests.

I just want you to be clear with your statement. Who will tell and select people with "common sense"? Aren't these educated people, lawyers/legal practitioners, middle class or taxpayers? What makes them qualified to represent the 100 million Filipinos in regard to reviewing the proposed new constitution?

So how can such mindset be absurd when all of us has seen the result?

If it worked for Davao, I see no reason why it shouldn't work with the rest of the country.

It took so many years Davao to what it is now and if that will be applied to the whole country, how many years could that be? One reason behind having a less crime rate could be bad elements already gone out in that city. Another thing is the extra-judicial killings. The result you have seen is a fruit of it. Would you like make it work with the rest of the country?

    1. As far as boycotting the elections go, yes, I have & will continue to do so. Even when gi-apura nami diri sa Philippine embassy in Kuwait to register & vote, I declined telling them I don't see any reason to vote someone who'll continue to bring nothing but misery to a lot of Pinoys.

I also agree that people power has been used to empower those who are as greedy & corrupt. I mean after former president Marcos' demise, 28 years has passed, is our country any better than what Marcos' regime was?

What I'm trying to say is, when Cory Aquino rose to power, it was the beginning of the end for the Philippines. I still maintain that Ferdinand Marcos was & still is the best thing that happened to our country.

All those who say it was over shadowed by Martial Law, are blinded lambs who are sucked into believing the lies of the people who want to deface Marcos' achievements just so they can empower their selfish agendas.

What a lot of people think are facts today, does not necessarily mean they are the truth.

Look at how the yellow media is overly sensationalizing the Aquino family. Look at how they demonized Arroyo & how a lot of nincompoops lambasted GMA.

Again, unhan nalang ni nako mga ugok where the level of comprehension is only limited by "if anybody doesn't support abnoy, pro GMA na siya", by saying I'm not a supporter of GMA or any politico today because the only person who I think made the country better was only former president Ferdinand Marcos.

    2. As I said, anybody can review it. No middlemen, no representatives whatsoever. I only said the other things because I see a lot of Pinoys who are too complacent to actually do something that matters.

    3. Most definetely yes. If I were given the chance to enforce it to the rest of the Philippines, I will. If criminals are lackadaisical in taking another person's life just to steal some money or sate their carnal needs against the will of the victims, then I think it's high time we'll return the favor.

Let us also not discount the fact that there are protectors for these convicts. The police themselves or the very people who were elected to "serve" the public.

I say the time is ripe for a new approach. The current law's penalties are just too slack they might as well slap the hands of the convicted criminals.

What good is putting a convicted criminal in prison who will only keep on doing the same thing? After they serve their time in jail, can they get accepted for work with a criminal record on their shoulder?

How do you think will they support themselves or their family?
