As I observed, those comparisons are made through stats. The players listed are among the leaders in different categories e.g. Scoring, rebouding, assists, steals and blocks. That's why they're dubbed as the best "trio".
Hmm.. Pistons. If I'd take into consideration hustle and teamplay, for sure Detroit will be among the top 3. Along with Phoenix and San Antonio.
mag lisud paman ni ang celtics kay bati pa gyud ila bench.daghan kaayo lig'on this season gyud.pistons kay naa sad experience and wala man silay star2x gud, cla tanan mang score, same as the san antonio spurs but naa lay times si parker grabeh kaayo ka buwaya.
Nice blog about the best trios in the NBA right now.Originally Posted by tackielarla

Mao sad na. As of now, the starting five needs to blend well with each other, especially the bench. It would be a great time for Boston and its fans to see the Celtics march into the NBA Finals in the first season of KG/PP/RA. But, realistically, I'm going to give them 1-2 years to get that chemistry.Originally Posted by theodore23
I don't know why some people label Tony Parker as "buaya", especially during the NBA Finals vs. the Cavaliers. A point that people has to consider is that, Tony Parker is a nightmare match-up for most point guards in the NBA. He's a quick slasher that gets past the not-so-defensive point guards of today and has that ala-AI move down the middle for the basket. During the Spurs' campaign, Popovich was always their to know which of his players can take advantage of that certain defensive weakness of their opponents.same as the san antonio spurs but naa lay times si parker grabeh kaayo ka buwaya.
Adjustments were always in a coach's mind when it comes to a game, especially during playoffs because he knows that teams is more likely to stop the guy who ripped them apart in the first encounter. But, Popovich was quite confident that the Cavaliers have no legitimate defender against Parker. Snow is slow, Hughes is injured, Gibson is too raw. Besides, it's the aim for the Spurs to win the championship.
KG, Pierce, and Allen, Boston's "big three" are not just compared to some of the league's current best trios, but also to no other than Boston's famed trio of Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish.
"I've seen a lot of comparisons to the 'Big Three' but this 'Big Three' is not the 'Big Three' until we win," said Celtics president Danny Ainge, who played on that last championship team. "They'll never be the 'Big Three' until they win. They know that. Nothing has been accomplished by them, at all, until we do something together and collectively. These guys have a lot to prove."
Garnett has a lot more to prove than Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Now that he's got a lot better supporting cast with him, KG's got no other alibi for not making it far. KG's reputation as a star and a franchise player has taken a hit after Minnesota failed to advance to the playoffs for 2 seasons after being named the league's MVP in 2004.
"This is my best chance to win a ring," said Kevin Garnett.
Garnett and the Timberwolves
Garnett made it clear to Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor that he does not want to be traded. In fact, the ever loyal Garnett would still opt to re-sign with the Timberwolves rather than going to free agency once his contract runs out. The catch? The Timberwolves would only re-sign Garnett if he agreed for a pay cut, which Garnett wasn't really interested at all.
"The more I continued to talk to Minnesota about making the team better, the more I heard them contradict what I thought would be best," Garnett said, referring to his recent discussions with owner Glen Taylor. "Glen's views of what he wanted from his team were very different from mine."
Upon knowing what Boston could offer him, getting positive feedbacks from former Celtics Antione Walker and Gary Payton and having the opportunity to play along with long time friend Allen, Garnett left Minnesota for Boston.
Garnett with the Celtics
Playing with Minnesota is having "a slight chance of winning" every night. Now that he's in the East and along with established superstars Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, Garnett's odds has increased to "above-average winning percentage" per night.
But the pressure is still on for KG, Pierce and Allen considering the Celtics' rich history and all the expectations thrown at them. Winning is winning in Boston, and it means going all the way.
"It depends on how soon the chemistry comes together and how we jell," Garnett said. "The East has gotten a lot better. So I won't say we're the team to beat. We've got things to prove. But I will say that we will be a force to be reckoned with."
