240GB Crucial M500 with firmware MU03 on a 2010 13-inch Macbook Pro with Superdrive through SATA 3Gb/s (300MB/s) interface. Clean install of 10.9.1 + other updates. TRIM not enabled as it was recommended by a Crucial employee that the built-in Garbage Collecting is sufficient.

I was able to source a 2nd HDD bracket so I can make a Fusion Drive.

Care to share how to go about this stuffing another drive in a macbook?

Hi folks... i'm a newbie to OS X. most of the people at home has windows. the problem is that I cannot copy files from mac to my external hard drive. I know that the external hard drive is formatted as NTFS while Mac only supports FAT32. is there a workaround to this? I'm having doubts on reformatting my external HD to FAT32 coz it's really not stable and has limitations as what I've read.

Another thing, I have VM firmware installed and runs Windows 7. Would anyone know how to access the internal HD of the mac from the windows OS?
