Kung magdala ko ug bow and arrow (archery) dayon naay checkpoint kinahanglan pa ko mupakita ug papers sa akong equipment?

Ug naa pa ko issue, ang bag sa akong b&a mura man gud ni siya suludlan ug Airgun kay camouflage ang style so ang pagtuo sa mga pulis airgun/firearm. Naa ba sila right na paabrehan ang sulod sa bag? Diba illegal man unless may search warrant? Or paabrehan nalang keysa mag pinilosopo ko?

Makabalo man sila na b&w kay naa mn ko dala quiver naka sud ang arrows..

Police can flag you down. They can visually Inspect you without a search warrant, however with just cause can search you anyways. The police also has a habit to always use just cause as a reason to search you. If you are riding public transport then you may have a problem as they can search you. If riding a bike so much more as they flag you down in a check point. If I can suggest you might as well change your bag a camouflage bag is just screaming weapon inside. Hope this helps.

well, strictly speaking they can never compel you to open your bag. However, yes as stated above they can always do a "terry search" on you. To make things worse, BP6 is still in force and can be used against you. HOWEVER, on the bright side, why not be just polite and tell the policeman that you have a bow and arrow to be used for sports like archery?

that would be an unusual weapon to be carrying around and can alarm police in checkpoint, but if they know it's for sport, there probably won't be a problem. though if they know how expensive the equipment is, they will find an excuse to confiscate it.

I ride with my compound bow at the back seat of my car. Complete with all arrows. No bow case, no cover. Police can only do a visual. There is no need for permit to transport for archery equipment.

I thik na ka answers na jud ang experts. Mag motor man ko usahay. Ang takedown recurve naa sa bag as backpack gipangutana ko sa police ako ra giingnan archery bow/arrow. Kasabot ra sila kay ang side quiver with arrows na raman nakataod sa ako.hehe

i think the best way na dili na modaghan ang argument with regards sa bow and arrow checkpoints,, kun archer ang mag dala sa items kun may event ex.. going to range or competitions,, mas maayo kun mag team uniform na lang daan kay para dili kaayo questionable ang item...
