Are we saved by faith alone, or do we need works, too?

If you're trying to imply that works fall under the requirement category, you must be reading/interpreting the bible the wrong way or doesn't even read the bible at all.

it was, is and never a requirement. self explanatory na man ang verse sir. do note that the author of that verse was a persecutor who ordered for the death of christians during his younger years. and then God revealed His grace to him by blinding him, after which his faith, submission and humility made him a new man. from then on, that turning point in paul's life transformed him into a preacher, his good works being a result of his salvation by faith.
