Well I still would ask establishment, basi down ila connect, it could happen. Ive seen it happen a bunch of times when PLDT or GLOBE are down and you have to reboot systems, ie pc, router and modem

naa bay problema connecting to a brand - linksys router bro? mao ma ni akong e try to connect but gets the 'unable to conect' problem always..
on the lighter side man gud.. when I try using authentication - 802.1x/WPA/WPA-SK or shared and network is Adhoc.. muingon cyag connected.. BUT when I tried browsing na sa web browser and go to a specific or random websites like google, cnn.cm or etc.. it would display another error saying.. "Unable to connect to remote server"
Hmmmm, as to brand linksys, Netgear seem to be straightforward havent seen any major connect issues
As to Aunthentication, it could be that Modem to router may be issue...Kay u have to remember when u network to router you are simply connected locally pero if the issue is server to modem mao nang walay kay internet kay down and server ie PLDT, GLOBE...

tsk tsk tsk....
Di man lisod..I bring my laptop, open wifi switch, it searches network, logs in kung walay encryption and thats it, now if network does not have internet connection then u could be logged in to network but cant connect sa internet. Bro its best to have someone log in for u para ma tanaw unsay problema nimo

sa amung silingan! Open iya ehehehe.. sauna mag sniffer ko hehehe bad bad bad hehhe
that will occur if your wireless adapter is not compatible with the router. some router has wireless a/b/g connectivity and usually they set the connectivity to "MIXED MODE" means wireless a/b/g adapater can connect to the router assuming they don't have WEP key in their network security. I tried my wireless b adapter to lyknsys wireless g router and default settings is on "MIXED MODE" I was able to connect but to no avail, i got "UNABLE TO LOCATE SERVER" and then I tried to change the settings in the router to "WIRELESS B MODE" , reconnect my wireless adpater and I can surf the net already but if you're using laptop since it's adapter is already wireless b/g and you don't have problem with it I suppose.Originally Posted by joshbonz
