Not really, the biggest danger in Amazon is somebody being able to obtain the card info. Naa man gud na consumer protection ang Amazon same as eBay.

Amazon is good for online shopping, it's fast, efficient and safe. i've tried ordering from them a couple of times and it always arrive on time. The best way to be protected if you are paying via credit card is to know the limit or capacity of your card, and always used that card when paying. so far, i've got no problem with Amazon.

I think nanay existing thread about amazon and naka reply nako about ani

anyway, again... naka suway nako palit sa amazon katong naa pako sa states nagpuyo

    bought about 6-8 items.
    used my Visa credit card
    shipped via USPS and UPS
all items arrived on estimated time (and it was really a "happy thing" everyday as I waited by the window for the stuff I ordered, excited much lang lels)

one thing lang that bugged me was, a year after I bought those items, my bank called me up kay nagcharge ang amazon ug subscription, maybe wala lang nako na notice before pag register as customer sa amazon nga naay naka sulat na mu auto-renew ang subscription nako after a year and that includes payment na. I forgot the explanation and story about that. hehehe

so before my post turns into a long-boring-read... ill answer the question based on my experience and chats with my friends working on that account.

yes, its safe. As long as it is "sold and fulfilled by Amazon" nothing will go wrong.

no, if the seller is suspicious, sold by 3rd party users and not with their original brands/company, negative feedbacks on their account

    Tips:
    - Don't register sa amazon prime
    - Read things carefully,
    - Make sure the seller is direct or the brand itself or other seller with good feedbacks/records (much better if the seller is Amazon)
    - If daghan reviews ang item imo paliton, it is likely to be safe
    - It's better to use these cards: BPI e-card, BDO virtual Card, Union Bank EON Card. or debit cards with visa/mc
    - better choose UPS than USPS / free shipping. as what I've heard. much safer daw
    - Keep track of your items

    I think that is all

    cheers!
