salamat dazedandconfused for pointing that out. that was my call. that was my performance art piece. i simply didnt have the time for an alternative material that would work as well with the pinwheels at a cost that would not have been too prohibitive for work that does not yet have a 'market' locally. meaning doesnt get funded by the 'sale' of the work but from my own shallow and hole-ridden, pockets. i did agonize -- no blood or tears, however -- over this but decided in the end that it was important to say what i wanted to say even if, as you pointed out, it came out ironic, again as you said, or, even, i would even go so far as to say, perhaps, self defeating. still, your comment is much appreciated. there is another performance art event at tapas lounge, jul 25. you might want to be there. more details on this soon. again, salamat.

A friend of ours will be launching a "Brown Paper Bag" campaign really soon. It is to promote the use of recycled paper bags instead of plastic bags. I hope many will support this campaign.
