Nahugaw na iyang 30 pin usb port. Gently clean whatever you can sa iyang port with toothbrush. If that fails, try syncing with a new or relatively newer 30 pin usb cord. Kasuway ko ana with ipad 2. Feeling sa device nakasync sya. Limpyohanan lang na. Hope this helps.
