Forgive me if naa ma offend sa akong opinion, personal view ra nako. I have been a person who grew up with "kuya's". And i dont mean, blood relative. Once I use the word "kuya" to a person, for me, that's enough said. YOU ARE LIKE A BROTHER TO ME. I dont take this word so easily kay it repersents nga, respetado nako ang person. And Im sorry if naa some people who uses this word because of hidden agenda. Meaning, they have some unbroderly/unsisterly attraction towards a certain person. If that will be the case, then i prefer to call the person with his/her name. I mean, it's sneaky, not to meantion, your not really being sincere towards that person whom you call kuya.
the term kuya can also be used man sad for someone older than u...not necesarily nga brother na gyud inu treatment.
sakto...that's what im trying to get accross bitaw...Originally Posted by grlnxtdor16
another thing. the question is supposed to be answered by guys. kai sila ang nagcourt. not kung mo-accept ka sa suitor nga gtawag mo nga kuya. hope that's clearer now.
