@lazaro4ever; I'm all for streamlining the application process, but what significant use would 3rd party processing be for getting a driver's license? The only thing they could conceivably ethically help with would be filling up the forms. Things like taking the lecture and passing the written and practical exams have to be performed by the applicant themselves. Because otherwise, what's the point of testing a licensee's capabilities if they don't actually take the tests themselves?

Yup. I agree with you sir. The problem I have with the exams is LTO doesn't seem to mind that the applicant's time is valuable too. They let people go there at 1:00pm, only to wait until 3:00pm for the exam to start... and another 2 hours waiting for the processing.

My take is, people can fill up the form at an affiliated 3rd party agency, they get a schedule (and LTO should be on time), and once finished, it is the 3rd party agency who will have to wait for the papers (ID, OR, CR) and give it to the applicant.

In addition, the exam should be harder. Also, for new people who just got a license, there should be a probation time. If you are caught with a violation like (speeding, swerving, driver fault related accidents, DUI), LTO should suspend or even ban that person from driving.

Just like the DFA. 3rd party agency helps you fill up, but you need to go to the DFA to get your picture taken.

The LTO fixing has got nothing to do with accidents on the road IMO. It is one's personality/behaviour on the road that gets you into accidents.
mao bitaw gamit sa fixer kai bisan ug drug addict ka maka lukat kag lisensya

I am not sure if magpa fix ka dili ka mo agi ug drug test.
