Got the first unibody(aluminum) 13" macbook way back 2008, aside from the battery going kaput, which is expected, I'm still using it up to this day. After the quick learning curve, never looked backed at windows. Upgraded ram to 8gb and swapped out the stock 160gb hard drive to a 1tb hybrid which speeded things up. If only i can fit two drives in there I'm a happy camper. This rig is mostly up 24/7, a testament to the mac's build quality.
Dako na free space inside, never bothered replacing the bloated batery. Hmm pede kaha butangan another connector for sata cable?
Yup something like that, not using the optical drive anyways. Or add another cable to the board for another drive inside.
Guys I need help. Unsaon pag resolved ani. Sa Acivity monitor nako naay naka red that reads "QTKit Server-(262) Safari (Not responding)"
240GB Crucial M500 with firmware MU03 on a 2010 13-inch Macbook Pro with Superdrive through SATA 3Gb/s (300MB/s) interface. Clean install of 10.9.1 + other updates. TRIM not enabled as it was recommended by a Crucial employee that the built-in Garbage Collecting is sufficient.

I was able to source a 2nd HDD bracket so I can make a Fusion Drive.
