Thanks sa mga nag reply.
We've both decided nga magpacheck up balik next month. just to check if mu negative pa ba jd gihapon ang blood test. if negative japon, we'll consult the OB and maybe do ultra sound to see what's going on down there and what's causing the delay.
And we're both open to the possibility nga naa, although we know daghan mausab kay naay madag2
Thanks
I'm a nurse. There are several possibilities of missed periods.
1. Hormonal Problem (PCOS -- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)
2. Stress
3. Sudden Change in diet
The list goes on....
I suggest, your GF should go to an OB-GYNE para ma check if she has any hormonal problem. If so, hatagan sya tambal para reglahon sya. Also, if you practice pre-marital ***, as early as now buy PILLS. There are available na tag 30 to 40 PESOS ra. If you can afford 1 meal for a day na worth 50 pesos/ load ba sa phone, how much more a pills that you can use for the entire month. She should take it if uncomfortable mo mag-use ug condoms because it is expensive to have babies karon.
Anyway, there's no such thing as foods na maka-layag. But there are foods na maka-help balik ug period. =)
Still newbie limited ra ako ma post.

Additionally, accurate ang blood test as soon as the first week of missed period is noted. Ang PT best used sa first urination in the morning. Ayaw tawon mo kompyansa ra anang Rhythm Method. It is bound to fail at some point. And yes, maka-anak ra japon mo sa future once you stop using the pills. There are more positive effects ana kaysa sa giingon anang mga biased na way nahibal-an na mag yawyaw. Ayaw ra jud laktawi ang pills. Like mu hamis iya panit, regular iya period, walay dysmenorrhea. =)
Kalma ra mo. If it's negative, it's probably negative.
Possible na sayop ang blood test as it is too early nga considered pregnant sha. had she had any slight bleeding? If so, it's implantation bleeding (when the fertilized egg is attaching in the uterine wall). when she is experiencing this, then I suggest you do the PT again.
Sa sugod rana ang kulba IF mahibaw-an nga positive man gani. Kay of course, FYI a baby is a lifetime obligation. Also, di lalim ang gasto ug kasakit sa pagpanganak, labi na sa gatas, diaper, ug medicines & doctors fee in case baby will get ill, also ang vaccine pa gyud.... haaaay... never ending check list noh?
But a baby is such a pure joy, once naa na sa mga kamot sa ginikanan. Worth it ang ka budlay and everything.
@Postmortemskittles: thank you. That was a good insight. Yes, we've been reading a lot lately. We think it's PCOS. We'll be going back to the clinic next month para pa blood test and ultra sound then set an appointment sa OB.

Btw, she's been having white discharges and she's slightly getting fat. Pero dli xa kasukahon or anything relating to pregnancy symptoms. And normal ra jd xa.. Mas duol ang symptoms sa PCOS.

@Kagami-chan: wala xa nag implantation bleeding. Just discharges.![]()
If she's getting fat it's a great chance na PCOS. Observe her if balhibuon sya sa arms and sa face, pimples. PCOS is managed the same way as diabetes since dili ma utilize ang insulin sa body kay tungod sa excessive male hormones na normally dili in-ana ka daghan sa baye.
By the way, not all women will experience anang kasukahon basta mag-buntis. Pero once she starts taking metformin and other meds to manage her PCOS, she will need to take Althea or Anti-Androgen Contraceptive Pills kay taas ang chance na she will be fertile (and pregnant). The pills not only acts as contraceptive, it also helps to counteract the excess hair and pimples brought by excessive androgen. Like I said, mag-lisod ang mga baye with PCOS na ma pregnant but with Metformin na gani, the chance of getting pregnant increases.
Hope maka pa check up sya ASAP, the longer women don't have menstruation, the more na mu daghan ang cysts na mag release ug too much androgen.
@Postmortemskittles: "Pero once she starts taking metformin and other meds to manage her PCOS, she will need to take Althea or Anti-Androgen Contraceptive Pills kay taas ang chance na she will be fertile (and pregnant)." <-- I don't understand this part.
Please enlighten us. Do you mean she's not going to be fertile unless she will take the meds? or she will be fertile?
Also, kamatikod ko nga mejo nagka balahibo xa sa arms niya. (not armpits)
PS: I'm learning a lot from you.. Thanks![]()
