Actually, mas maayo jud kung distilled water, or treated water.

Pero it doesn't matter. Pwede ra gani rain water or even faucet water basta naa lang coolant.

Pero if ganahan jud mo, aw no problem.

Pila ra man sad ang distilled water (5-6 liters)? Less than P 100 unya 1-2 a year lng nmo ilisan depende sa usage and age sa imong vehicle. So para nko, sulit ra. Rain water gamita, ok ra pud.

Kung rain water or distilled water ang gamiton, no need na ilisan pa since wala may gisagol that will degrade overtime. I use 100ml to 150ml Island brand rust converter (distilled water-phosphoric acid solution) pangsagol sa rain water or distilled water, to make the solution a little acidic and to avoid any rust on the head gasket. Heat transfer is improved with the solution and no more blown head gasket due to rust. No need to drain it assuming your cooling system is clean. Cooling system cleaning can be done with rain water and baking soda solution while your regularly using your car for a week or two. Drain it after the cleaning period, flush with running water and reload with the slightly acidic solution and use it for life of the vehicle. You won't hear this method from coolant manufacturers, lugi sila ani nga pamaagi.
