Im an atheist by I will try to answer your question

worship in RCC means loving god with all your heart, putting god above all priorities, doing good in god's name. going to church and praising god. spreading god's word. I think that's about it

What I noticed on this thread is:

the very same persons asking the questions
have NO HONEST EFFORT of understanding the answers at all.

all these QUESTIONS are full of pretense.
I hate to say it, but their purpose
to be here is to MOCK the Catholic Church.

there is no real intellectual discussion here.
by the very same people who asked the same questions
    THREE TIMES!

    Protestants swarmed this thread
    to mock what you believe
    to add SUBTLE insults
and to claim superiority that their faith is superior.

Which, of course, they will deny. And I understand.
Who would want to be called a "bad Christian" anyway?

But you have to read their MOTIVES through
what they ask and write on every page.

What I suggest therefore, is to answer only
SINCERE questions that have never been asked before,
and from somebody with a sincere heart and effort
to at least, understand things from the Catholic perspective.

    bai Nap,

these links would show the basis for the Catholic practice of asking saints and angels to intercede for us on earth.
The Intercession of the Saints | Catholic Answers and Scripture Catholic - SAINTS AND INTERCESSORY PRAYER

this link caters a small explanation about the practice
Praying to the Saints | Catholic Answers

and this link offers FAQs regarding saints
Frequently Asked Questions about Saints - Saints & Angels - Catholic Online

apart from early Christian tradition as the basis of veneration and asking for the intercession of saints
i believe the basis of this early Christian practice would come from the Jews which is just natural if Christianity is supposed to be the fulfillment of Judaism through Jesus.
i was able to locate a link that might be able to explain better. please check the link below:
Salvation is from the Jews -- Articles and News

and @SioDenz, pwede ra pud ka murefer aning mga links nga akong gipost diri

Mga brader nice jud ni i topic basta about religion na kay maka kutaw sa utok Pero attack the idea not the person lang aron limpyo ug hapsay ta diri.

As for me, since elementary tig lead ko ug mga rosaries sa amoang community, halos every night jud na kay lagi naa man sad snack2x sad I read a lot about the bible and every night I read at least a page of the bible and digest (highschool days) until nahuman jud nako ug basa. I have been to bible studies panagsa, attend aning mga pulong2x mag isa2x sa kamot In short, I was a devout Roman Catholic.

    * My father's brother(uncle) is a priest(28 years in service). I learn a lot from him, the ins and outs of their practices. Pirmi ko mo adto sa iyang convento kay manguha ug sinsilyo na gikan sa inyong bulsa Naa ron siya na assign sa Sto. Rosario church.
    * My Lola's sister is a nun. Usahay ako ang tig hatod kuha niya sa airport once mo visit na siya namo. I also learn a lot from her, asked her questions bahin aning mga religion etc.
    * My mother's 1st degree cousin is a priest. Sa wala pana mapari kay jam2x(basketball, tirador sa kalasangan, etc.) na nako siya ug kaila ko sa iyang kinaiya ug views.
    * Msnr. Binghay is my father's uncle. Although dili ko kaayo close niya pero based sa mga storya gikan sa mouth sa akong uncle na pari maka idea ko ug unsa sad siya na type.

Ug daghan pakong distant relatives nga in service aning catholicism. In short, it runs in our families.

At the moment I have TWO point of views. Catholicism and ex-Catholicism. I have the A and B sides of the story

I will suggest katong mga katoliko nga TRY to venture outside catholicism. Because if your faith and beliefs are true then they MUST lead you back right? Don't be afraid your shepherd will lead you back.

Why Jesus did Not say anything about Mary nga pwedi ampoan? or pwedi tawgun, unsay reason?
Wa ko ka kuha sa imo pangutana brod,. but anyway Here is my reply( though am not theologian or Apologetic) ,. did you know what is the first miracle of Jesus? water into wine? Mary tell Jesus about it., and untimely as for him but Jesus Granted it,. and this reflect only not only on Jesus & Mary earthly life,. for ME Jesus is God,. Mary have an special Favor with God,. now on Jesus Crucifixion, he saw her mother near with his disciple whom he love,. what did he tell her? "Woman (honorific title) behold your son; and unto his desciple( faithfull Follower Alike); behold your mother.". She even predicted (not arrogantly) that all generation shall call her blessed,. ( who is calling her that now)... AND She will Crush the head of the Dragon (,. okay you have a big Question Mark on this too..

"We cant even totally KNOW our own hearts, unsa pa kaha ang uban... "

Precisely Brod!,. as St. Augustine Quote " our Heart is Restless unless it rest on you"
ksabot ra ta og cge pangutana, in search for truth,. but you have to ask for the grace to understand, strengthen your faith,.
