Brad, the intelligent designer is a scientist from a far away universe. We are but experiments of whatever they are planning to do with us. They don't do magic I am sure of it 'cos if there is then its common knowledge. These sperm2x thingy are just one of those things they talk during dinner time. No big deal for them.

Acquiring knowledge is a gradual process and is infinite. But there's a seniority or shall we say a level to it. If I lived during the 1800s then I told them that "a machine will one day makes a million computations in a second" , I am sure I will be branded a hypocrite. Remember Galileo when he told the whole world that the Earth is round. It's a pattern and its crystal clear. Your divine beliefs holds you back from the truth.

I believe in the saying that "nothing is impossible". Answers are already laid out in front of us and it only needs someone a genius to connect the dots or maybe an idiot who accidentally stumbled with the answers.

People are evolving intellectually right now, and collectively we are not asking the same questions we were asking centuries ago..
