Hi bro,
you're not only out of the context but your statement clearly shows ignorance from the Catholic perspective.
ignorance not in a condescending way but in the sense that you need to do a lot of studying about Catholicism and Catholic practice which is ideal before you say something like "idol worship, saint worship and the likes" this is one of the biggest misconceptions non-catholics have towards catholicism.
we don't wanna pre-judge people now do we? diba naa na sa Bible?
Furthermore, when we speak of something canonical, it speaks merely about standardizing which is very essential if we are to follow something specific.
if you want to know the details of the Catholic Practice, you can refer to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, there you would see if the Church really does not follow the Bible.

hello bro,
personally i'd call this evolution of Salvation..hehehe
in the old testament, people are saved by specific physical acts of righteousness on top of what is in the heart through the Mosaic Law.
who knows? Death could somewhat mean indulgence and a chance for salvation
i can only be thankful that i was born in the time when Jesus have already fulfilled the Laws of righteousness where He can be my righteousness in the sight of His Father.
Ways or process of salvation may have evolved over time. but what hasn't change is that Salvation only Comes from God.

For questions relating to Catholic Priests not being able to marry,
Please see this link: Why can't a priest ever marry? | Catholic Answers
thank you.
Hope mabalik na ta sa tumong sa thread which is to cater questions on Catholic Doctrine and Practice.![]()
not in that sense. by evolution of Salvation(not an official term), it would rather mean fulfillment instead of replacement.
there's a huge difference.
Should we still stone adulterers to death after Christ died for them?
i don't think so, we take them to court instead..hehe

Hi bro,
with Mary as the Mother of God shouldn't be a problem if we consider Jesus, with all His humanity as still God.
in the main time i would encourage you to read the links below for a better explanation.
How Can Mary Be God's mother
and
Mary, Mother of God
The Angel of the Lord declared Mary as Full of grace, therefore there shouldn't be any problem with Mary being considered as Holy.
atong pakapinan bro, basin ganahan pud ka mubasa bahin sa rosary..hehe
