    Well, I suggest that you consult/talk to a few trusted people first (family and close friends) and see if your idea will "sell" to them. For sure these people can provide information on the steps that you might probably be taking.

    Nevertheless, if you go for a loan or borrowing money, can you borrow from your family and a few close friends first? This way is much easier and simpler. If not, try cooperatives. If its your first time to borrow money, maybe its hard to borrow from banks because of collateral and other requirements.

    You can also look for venture capitalists. Venture capitalists are investors who are willing to put/risk money into something that is "new" but promising. Start-ups are normally targets of venture capitalists. The thing about venture capitalists though is that they provide the money so you can work on your idea hence making them technically part owners of the venture (unless your totally buy out their stake in the future). Why not make family and friends your financier?

    I'm very biased about family and close friends because these are people that you know hence reducing risk. Just be sure to be selective and pick those who can be trusted and are reliable. Family and friends are actually very good sources of funds if what you're looking for isn't too much or if they can afford (either individual or pooled).

    me, my family, and my circle of friends are all dirt poor hehe so murag d jd option nko ang mu duol sa ila although nindot jd unta na nga idea so thank you sa pag suggest ana, i think kanang venture capitalist akong gi pangita jd but i dunno pa kay sa akong pagsabot bya anang stake2 kay naay possibility ma kick out na nuon ka sa company na ikaw mismo unta ga start if ever mu grow imong business pero im willing to take the risk, asa pud ko ka kita anang mga venture capitalist sir?

    @alexyap:

    Venture capitalists are everywhere. If you know a person who has money, talk and present your proposal/idea to that person and he/she could be a venture capitalist if he/she invests. I believe that corporations (such as Globe, PLDT/Smart, etc.) also support SMEs and start ups so these are good choices as well.

    About being kicked out. Be sure to have everything into writing and for you to do this, you may need to consult and tap the services of a lawyer. Also be sure to deal with somebody or financier that is trustworthy.

    If the amount that you need is not that much, duol lang ug mga tao. If your family and friends can't help you financially, maybe they know some people that has the amount that can fund your idea. But again, just be sure to have everything on paper. Pero if dako2x nga amount imong need, I think mga businesses imong duolon ana. Maybe businesses that you think that will also benefit from your idea.

    i see pero will the lawyer cover everything na? i mean, apil nana sa assurance nga dili kawaton akong idea sa mga papeles buhaton sa lawyer? and would i need a good lawyer? or would one that is dili kaayo sakit sa bulsa suffice?

    I think the best thing to do is consult a lawyer. Try consulting PAO (Public Attorney Office). Libre ra na ang PAO.
