Good Alternative for SMART MyBro

Good Morning mga brad!

I've been a SMART BRO (now MyBro) Wireless user for almost 6 years now (plan 999) and it was okay till the early part of 2013 where my connection dropped drastically. Then I read of MyBro's FUP (Fair usage Policy) that they are limiting the bandwidth for each user per month (15GB limit from what I heard) which is totally unfair since I'm paying for unlimited internet and I use a large amount of internet data. I got fed up with calling their so called customer service who gives out a variety of excuses and the "Please wait for 24 hours" spiel so I refused the contract renewal. I need a good alternative for my current ISP. I can't get MyDSL or Globe DSL since I live quite far from the main road (in Sitio Narra Tayod Liloan Cebu) so my only option is wireless internet.

My question fellow istoryans: is there a good alternative to this shitty ISP? I've heard of Globe's Globe Tattoo Home WiMAX but I don't know if it's reliable of not. Any advice is appreciated...

coz ng canopy mi sa amoa for mga 6 yrs nasad, and plano nako ipa potol para mg change to pldt,, hinay man gd ning smart bro,, and karon pako kabalo anang 15gb cap nila

Yup Canopy ni brad. Pag research nako sa mga forums, 15GB ra gyud and estimated monthly cap pro basi lahi ato dri sa Cebu. Mas maayo if change ka PLDT kay paspas. Dili man gud maabot ila linya diri sa amo apil ang Globe.

if mag pldt mo stable and paspas jud pero kadto lang plan 999 nya 3mbps.. kay sa ako experience sa plan 1995 5mbps kay 3 mbps ra ako maximum, nya kung ireklamo mu ana ra nga acceptable rana nga speed kay 60-80% kuno sa maximum.. mao to nagpa downgrade nalang ko to 999.. 3mbps ra gihapon bisan gi downgrade.. loso ning mga tawhana

That would be so much better kay barato compared sa globe na P1099 per month nya mas paspas sa Mybro. but dili lang abot ang PLDT dri. Bati gyud ni kung sudlonon inyoha...

Pwede ra na bro. Mao ta na na plan ako kuhaon pro dli pwede sa amoa. Mass ubos ug max burst limit ang naa apil landline (512 kbps ra) while ang internet only kay 1mbps or higher
