yes bro, naa gyud ko'y 8" floppy sa balay pud pero, don't know asa to nko nabutang... but, sa HW, wala ko ana nya ha... kay gamit na's original IBM... hehehe... dili ta maka afford sa ato na time... naka gamit lang ko kay naa ma'y isa ka IBM rig sa seminary (sa Don Bosco Canlubang). did2 ko nag skwela for 1 years... '91 ~ '93... pari2x kunohay... hehehe... ambot atong mga dagko na floppy, bisan hikapon ang sulod or bas-on ug tubig then pa ugahon, mabasa ra man gihapon sa magnetic head sa drive... but ang 5.25" ug 3.5" floppy drives basta mahikapan ang sulod, bye2x na gyud ang data...
last nako kita ug 8" floppy drive in action kay when i worked dha sa Fairchild Semiconductors sa mepz 1... gamit sa Teradyne tester... that was in 1999. then pag 2001, kay gi pa retire na to ang tester...

i was surfing the online shops last night and found a BFG 7800GTX... i'll check it today if its still available... nice to sya for collection... ok ra man ang price nya kay 700 php equivalent ra man. it will not hurt the pocket. the GF 7 Series was released by Nvidia on 2005... its 8+ yers already to date... this GPU was the fastest during its day (its an anwer to ATI's reign)... until, ATI counter attacked... the normal flow of business... technology, marketing & consumer adaption...
here's my project in mind for the GPU collection... i'll make a showcase and place it in the wall... butang ug box then covered with glass... or the option is to make a foldable divider that containted the GPU collection... then the other side will show the mobo collection. puno ni sya sa center table na CPU collection...

^ nice bro... mao na ang akoang 2nd or 3rd mouse sa PC DIY passion nato... ang 1st mouse nako kay A4 Tech... then kani dayon sa Genius... toad2x nko na gigamit then ilis dayon ko'g Genius trackball... taod2x pud nko nakagamit...
ang mga mouse sauna kay bati kaayo'g mga nawong... hehehe... pero, lig-an ang plastic na gi gamit... hassle lang kay mechanical man... sige ta limpyo sa sliders ug sa ball para mo tarong ug function...
then naa pud ko atong laser mouse na need sya ug special mouse pad... dili mo function kun dili ang kato na mouse pad ang gamiton... paets kaayo... hehehe...

LOL ug naka remember mo sa "five jays" nga warehouse namaligya ug mga 2nd hand na PCs. Tag 15k to grabe kamahal maayo gani wala mi modayon palit sa ako papa. Ug akong i value to ron murag wala nay mopalit ato maski pa guro ihatag to hehe.

complete jd mi anang sa intel pentium 1-4 sauna. bata pa lang ko atong panahona pero pag pentium 3 murag naa nay buot gamay. nya i used to play CD-Man and Captain Claw. haha. naa mi kato before sa pentium 1 kining epson nga computer. limot lng ko sa model.

My first pc, was way back when i was in high school around 2001,
Intel Pentium 4 to siya, atong panahona lipay kaayo ko kay gipalitan ko sa ako mama kay reward daw ka good performer sa school...mahal kaayo ang set jud sa una..around 30k palit sa akong mommy sa philbytes, nilabay ang mga tuig gipalitan to nako ug new case, but naa pa diri ang old case, ni survive, i dunno if ni survive pato ang akong p4 na cpu, but i really loved it, kana bang, mag tigum ka sa imu allowance then inig abot sa amount lipay kay ka and excited itaod kay nakapalit nakag 2 ka 512mb ka ram to make it 1gb and a 256mb 128bit inno3d agp card..that was the best time of excitement
Sad to say, kani laging gugma sa una, kanang pirmiro pa maka tilaw, ahahaha naa sa balay sa ako x akong cpu and up to now, wala nko kahibaw na unsa nato ahaha,
kani lng ang memorabilia nga naa sa ako-a...was surprised, musiga pa ang led lights sa side lol
not really rare but it's 13 years old..and what a surprise..mo work pa ang bling
