Hey girl it's not painful, i had that operation 9 years ago...i live in europe and this is practically common to women here, i was hesitant too at first but then i found courage. There are so many things to consider before getting into:
    1. Are you more than 18 years of age, usually a good surgeon considers that this operation be done when your breasts are fully developed. Many youngsters asked their parents as gift for 18th birthday which is too early to undergo this operation.
    2. Make sure he/she is a good surgeon, do some research about his past jobs, ask friends if he/she really is an efficient one, don't trust to low cost surgeries they might be inadequate, better consult to different plastic surgeons.
    3. A good plastic surgeon would recommend you the size with respect to your height and body structure, not only just to have the ala "pamela anderson" effect and eventually the pros and cons.
Not all human being's body has the same reaction on the insertion of the "foreign object", some have rejections and the doctor has to remove it (silicon) from your body, let's say it's at your own risk.
In my case everything went okay, my daughter was already 6 years old and i was 30 at that time of operation and i had no plans to procreate more though the doctor said you can still breastfeed even after having the operation. If you have some questions feel free to ask me.
    ...just to contribute an idea.

plastic surgery is all about having a doctor who can do all your surgeries and make them look as subtle as possible....when people who haven't seen you in a certain period of time say that there is a physical change to you but they can't seem to pinpoint it then the doctor has done a good job...a good nose, chin, boob job is barely noticeable but enhances the overall features of a person...

For the first 15 days you have to take full rest and your movements are limited. You shouln't absolutely raise your arms, mustn't lift up heavy objects and you can't drive, sis...maybe no dokdok sa computer for few days hehehe...in 30 to 45 days fully recovered na ka. By the way mine was done with local anaesthesia associated with a sedative (natulog ra ko) and i had the small cut under the nipple on the areola (dark skin sorrounding the nipple)and the scars are almost invisible. enclose this link since this is very informative. gud luck ha.

and abt girls asking for a boob job as abday gft/graduation gft, dont u thnk its sad?
maybe these grls were not loved by their parents that much for them to opt to this kind of operation for the goal of self confidence.

for more self confidence man gd kasagaran goal sa mga girls mao gnhn cla ani..
but is it wrth ur life?

Well i know for some they really require a much greater confidence boost but for others like myself, I only want to get good fit in my clothes that's all. After having babies I dunno if it is really true but to some extent breastfeeding can cause the breast to shrink in size and firmness, so it's a little different now than before.

Pero cancer? Are you sure about that?

If you think bigger boobs will make you happy, no one should have any problem with that.

Personally, I have nothing against plastic surgery.
