On Topic: ah bsta, g-sisi ko nganung wala pa na-uso aung IT sa akong time, tua, parental blackmail nahimong nurse (pero eventually, love na nako, from womb to tomb daw ...ana xla)....pero kusug au ko mg.HTML..CSS churva sauna sa friendster pato tyma..hiihih..

bai murag na uso man una ang IT compare sa pag uso sa nursing sa Cebu or sa Pilipinas?
if sa san carlos ka, makabantay ka una gitukod ang AS(mao ang IT/CS building sa una) building compare sa nursing building, kay pag sulod sa year 2000 grabe ka in-demand ang IT so daghan nag enroll ug IT atu na time and then later on like 2003 pa na uso ang nursing.
Unless na mid to late 90s ka nag college kana na time wala pa na uso ang IT na course dri sa Pinas Pero naa naman CS and ang technology kay blooming with the release of Windows 95.

sakto si @kamsky, if trending ug sikat cya karong panahuna then you are already too late, daghan na kaayu na gabuhat ana, and saturated na ang market, daghan ka kaayu ka karibal sa pag apply or bsag sa freelancing.

Agree ko ani bro. Then dili sd programming lang ang highly paid nga skill sa IT industry. Kanang mga project managers, WordPress editors and software/website QA highly paid sad na sila.

im always skeptical in following the trend... since trend is like a bubble... when it burst daghan ma sulod sa banga.... i never recommend to follow the trend if its about career... i always recommend follow where your heart and your happy with it... either IT or not...
