Connectors are different bro, and they have different shaped pins so dili mo fit into the wrong type of socket. Pereha man sila physically 8 pins but different shapes, PCI-E 8 pins is not for MOBO 8 pins

The Mobo plug has 4 +12V lines and 4 Ground. The 8 pin PCI-E plug has 3 12V lines, 3 ground and 2 voltage regulating lines.
