If you love chocolates, check out TCC (The Chocolate Chamber) at the back of Sarossa Hotel. Lami ilang chocolates and their cakes. Dili siya pambata nuon because most of the food are not that sweet. If you go with kids, ask lang kung unsay lami for kids.

The price is a bit high, these are the same people behind Ralfe Gourmet. But unlike sa Ralfe na reservation basis ra, you can drop by TCC and sit. They have space for 20 people.

As i've said, the price is a bit high, but it is worth it. If you chance upon the owner, she will wow you with her passion for tablea. She's from Balamban and they make their own chocolates and tablea from cacao. Most of her eight kids help out sa store. She's very accommodating, so ask her your questions. Walay trade secrets, sabwag tanan. And she lets you taste the chocolates if you want. In our case, kada ask namo about a certain product, mukalit dayun siya ug "dae, patilawa sila aning ________" it was embarrassing, but we couldn't resist the free taste. All in all, the chocolates are really good. Try the choco vanilla cookie butter and order the tablea drink.

What's more, nindot ang place. The decor, the interiors even the utensils they use are impressive. So pwede ra to impress a date. Cakes are 100 per slice, except for the tablea cake, which is more expensive. They also have products for sale there.

    • Captain A's - Boodle Fight lami kaayo and kung buot huna-hunaon, sulit gyud siya. I would suggest this for family/barkada dinners if feel ninyo and pinoy foods.
About Claypot, ganahan unta ko sa ila interior, but medyo di kau lami ilang food. If you like Thai and spicy food, better ang Krua and other older Thai places. Not to mention tuyuonon pa jud siya. the time we were there kay murag gisapot ang guy owner and medyo gadabog pud siya. nasunog ang hotpot (katong naay rice) and there was a little girl sleeping on one of the chairs. Their pad thai is good though.

Captain A's kay hit or miss ang food. i guess you should try it for the boodle experience, but usahay ang ilang seafood kay katol and dili fresh. Especially katong former branch nila sa IT park. But kung matimingan pud nimo na okay ang food, sobra pud ka lami.

Watever KTV/Barbeque Jones, Outlets at Pueblo Verde.

Bad trip kau ni. first, dugay muabot ang food. 28 pesos for one cup rice and a piece of bbq. Ang bbq nila, which they call "pork belly" kay parehas ra kadako sa tig 6 na bbq sa kilidkilid. chicken lollipop nila kay way lami niya murag daan ang chicken. we go that after waiting close to an hour for the food to arrive. while waiting, kay daghan pud customers nila sa KTV na magsigeg gawas gawas to complain about something. About the remote, about the food, about the room, about how nobody goes to their room despite the repeated calls. And they love to loiter around and talk behind their customers backs. Kung naa ka sa dining area, makatsismis ka about the people in the KTV rooms. The guard is kinda rude too.

The Japadog is the hotdog version of the Tokyo Sun Burger which as you may know is a favorite again. Hotdogs come in two varieties: Andouille which is basically a smoked sausage made from pork innards and the Italian which is made with pork with fennel seasoning and could be sweet and hot in flavor. I liked the former better than the latter.

The Bigdaddy Fries an instant hit. It is a reminiscent of PikNik those shoestring fries we all loved back then. I prefer my fries this way, it lessens the chance of it getting soggy and way too oily. I think I had 3 servings of these. Not sorry.

    Try nya ninyo dadto!

    Sweet Little Things

Change is good but I loved the fact that the taste remained constant. The cake was moist, crumbly and fresh. I simply bow down to these guys when it comes to keeping these moist and fresh daily. This is one of the many things to consider for anyone who sells this small pastry goodness for a living. Also, I noted back then on my previous posts that no one should ever skimp on frosting. There is a science to it. In SLT Cakes and Cofffe, their cake and frosting ratio is just spot on. You will still have enough frosting left to the last bite.

The Chocolate Truffle is a small piece of chocolate heaven. Soft and moist chocolate cake. Crumbles to every bite yet not too overpowering. The frosting packed with chocolatey goodness. It's something you can easily get addicted to. This one, is as cliche as it will sound: to die for! I can't help but take another bite.

The Crushed Malaysian Milktea (Php85) came to me as a surprise hit. This by far is the most simple yet satisfying drink. Crafted per order. No sinkers and no other toppings just milk tea with ice. It couldn't be any simpler than that. Don't let it fool you though, even at it's basic form it certainly was good enough for me. I recommend this for anyone who want to join in the bandwagon. Straightforward and truly a gateway drink for any soon to be milk tea afficionado. Best with the Lemon Poppyseed cupcake and the pair is perfect for each other.

    Dozzants from Madeliene

This is a favorite among all the flavors we tasted. The crumbly texture with the subtle mango filling makes this truly delectable. Even tastes great after being refrigerated. Best eaten fresh. Can be consumed the day after if it lasts that long! We reheated a few today and still tasted great.

Service was impeccable. Great staff and lovely ambiance. Perfect for a slow Saturday. Take one last look from the photos above and you'd find yourself dialing Madeliene to get your box home.

Note: Dossantz are only available from Thursdays to Saturdays between 3PM onwards. Call in to pre-order and reserve your box. Call or walk-in. I prefer you call to reserve, these are really hot in the market right now!

Special Offer: Buy 6 buns and get 2 FREE! Grab your box today or no, wait til Thursday.
