PLDT Throttling Torrent Speed?? Kinsa nka Experience ani?

Guys kinsa nka experience ani? I think after Christmas ni kalit ra jd ug hinay ako Download speed. bsag dghan kaau ug seed. Nag DL ko ug movies 1500 SEEDS vs 200 LEECH and all I get is 50KBPS which I normally have 300+/... PLDT MyDSL 3MBPS ako plan.

ISPs don't like torrents. They're bandwidth eater; slows down the system. If you have a budget, gamit kag seedbox, then use FTP to download the files to your PC. The FTP protocol is not throttled by any ISP. Gamit nako is seed.st. $6 a month ra and you'll have yourself a chance to download torrents sa mga exclusive torrent sites like iptorrents.com

bundle plan 1299 user here, speed is about 2.5mbps every speed test and every server mao ang mugawas, sa ping lang mag depende, but sa una kay akong dL speed mu abot baya ug 400kbps, sa single torrent download, karon, kapaet, nindot na kung maka saka ug 50kbps, WTF is dis?

having same issues here TS, PLDT sad ko this started about 3-4days ago.. hinay jud kaau download speed sa torrent, tried using different torrent softwares but still having same issues.. mo max lng ug 100kbps akng max speed unta mga 600-690kbps... paspas raman akng direct download ug youtube streaming...

Thanks sa inyo info guys.. I thought mn gd sa ako settings sa Torrent or ako ra jd nka experience ani na gi Throttle sa PLDT. dghan man diay tah.. hahaist.. lge.. Hopefully ma resolve ni nila na issue.. kay di bya ko cge tanaw Youtube videos more on download ra jd ko..

Mao pud ni problema nako kay githrottle nila ang utorrent.

Nasolve na ni nako amg problema using vuze torrent client.

I-set nimo ug encrypt imong downloads para magthink ang pldt nga direct download ang torrent nimo.
Search youtube for tutorials.

Solve na ang torrent speeds nako. Back to normal. Dili lang ko kagamit ug utorrent.

gi suway naku ang vuze... ok man tana pero dli sya mu abot sa iyang usual speed nga 400kbps...
around 100-150kbps lng... tapos usahay rpd sya nga ana... karun nga time kay 1-10kbps nlng... bcn naay lain buhatun sa settings ana tol patudlo be.

Experiencing this as well.


Their customers are paying them for the speed to "download" so why throttle or limit...

They need to realize nga mao ni purpose why ni SUBSCRIBE or NAGDUGAY ang customers nila; Because they are KNOWN to have no limits or any hidden restrictions.


If they do not like torrent downloading, then why they are boasting/advertising their increased speed plans? 3-10mbps just for streaming and plain browsing?


Maayo pa mo balik nalang sila sa ilang 384kbps and 512kbps plan offerings, tinood pa og walay throttling or limits...

They really need to address this issue or else maghinayhinay gyud sila kawad-an og customers...

same issue here bai.. lately ni hinay jud ang torrents... ni try kag DL og mga files from the internet?.... like some programming software or applications nga dagko? kanang browser DLs lng ba.. same ba japon ang results? kay sa akoa dli jud siya mu abot og mski man lng 50kbps and speedtest shows 2.80 - 3mbps..


BTW unsaon diay nimo pagkabalo kanang sure jud nga g cap ang speed? kanang sure jud ka nga pde na nimo i reklamo nga PLDT ..
