If you have kids, consider the theme parks like Lotte World. There are a lot of good ones, you can do your research. Gadgets there are pretty cheap too! They also sell a whole lot of mobile phone cases. And don't forget to bring a jacket! It's pretty cold there.

air asia seems to have some cheap rates for cebu to seoul roundtrip. Ive been living and working in korea for 4months now. I find it expensive here (clothes, electronics and hotels). Most of the museums are very good and offer free entrance if thats the kind of stuff youre into. There is a lot of culture here, over 5000 years worth. Communicating will be a problem as only few people around speak good english, but i imagine that in most of the tourist areas they have signs in english and korean. Traffic in seoul can be very heavy, it is very densely populated. The drivers here don't really follow traffic rules and like to run red lights. If you're trying to cross the road I strongly suggest you watch the locals first and do what they do. like i said drivers are crazy here. what else... public transport is very effiient and reliable here and not too expensive. its the preferred way to travel. but dont expect to get a seat on the bus or train most of the time they will most likely be full and crowded.

also it gets very cold here. its not even halfway thru winter and we get temps of as low as -9 degrees celsius average high temps in the day for the past 2 weeks has been around -1.keep in mind water freezes at 0

this was taken about 3 weeks ago
