How many USB devices can be cascaded into a standard USB port, using a USB hub?
If i get a 4-port USB hub and plug it into a USB port in my PC, i can connect 4 different USB devices into that single USB port thru the hub. Kung akong insertan ug lain nga 4-port USB hub ang usa sa mga slots, i wil now have 7 open USB ports! Pwede pa ba kaha ni?
ug sumpay2x tirada nimo TS, take note that mga flash drives ra ang ma connected nimo ana kay as for the usb-based peripherals murag di kadaog adto jud na sa main port or sa mismong ports sa chassis ma sak2x![]()
Pwede kaayo na. Why not?
The real question is, is the 1st tier usb hub on the chain up to the task? You could daisy chain as many hubs as you like as long as the first hub has capable circuitry to juggle all the other hubs.
If ever it can, all the devices will have to share the bus speed of the port whether it be 35MB/s or 400MB/s.
Another to consider is 5v dc can only reach a certain short length without too much loss.
in short.. you can, but up to an extent.. you could however opt for plugging in a connection that does not rely on the slow USB connection and have multiple lanes of connections via PCI or PCIE..
like this one right here:
that pcie card + USB hubs would be a better choice for plugging multiple usb interfaces.
or better yet, get 4 of those and plug it on your mobo for maximum bandwidth and speed..
Pila man diay kabouk imu e.butang nga flash drive sa imu pc? ngano daghan man kaayo imu gamitan para as diay na?
depende mana sa imu devices nga I-connect? .. like flash drives, external HDD, cellphones ug uban pa
