I have Photoshop working on both laptops

Im no vista expert but you can try this:

Right click on the setup file. Set compatibility to XP/SP2 (apply hehehe) then right click on setup icon. "Run as administrator"

Unsa imo specs? If you decide not to use Vista ayaw nalang dual boot downgrade nalang gyud balik XP. Samok samok lang ang usa ka os lung mag dual boot ka nya dili nimo gamiton.

dual booting can be risky unless you know what you'r doing or if you like taking risks with your data.....if you ever decide to dual boot, just google it...

I am running vista ultimate, dual boot via bios (F12) with xp.
I can say that all software I had running under XP runs also under my vista, no exception.
Even my development programs like delphi 5, delphi 7 etc. all run under vista.
Oh, yes, PS CS3 too runs 100% fine.

I've installed all those games including Photshop CS3 when I was still using Vista Ultimate and all of them just went well. I did not do any special tweaks or whatsoever they just work with no problems at all.

Yeah they all work exept for some patches...pero normal man gud magka problema ang patch. One thing to consider about vista are the Win Updates. I had problems installing my ZUNE software until they came up with an update. Sometimes you have to manually go to the update site ang download the update.
