Axe program is kind of misleading. This is just actually a space flight passenger aka space tourist.
Passengers will experience a microgravity of 4 minutes of weightlessness and 20 minutes flying time back to earth.
First Passenger to booked a flight for Xcor is Per Wimmer of Denmark and they only classify him as space tourist.

Recently I have been reading posts on my Facebook wall.

What the eff is this? Another overhyped issue? I'm talking about the "First Filipino Astronaut" that is set to travel to space this 2015.

To be honest, I have no problems with him being the "First Filipino Astronaut" coz the word astronaut doesn't only refer to people who are astronomy or physics experts. Even civilians who traveled to space are called astronauts.

And again, Filipino pride!

I find it hilarious because some stupid people on Facebook said that the guy should be considered a hero and become a source of pride for the Philippines. I was like, WHAAAAT?!

Just because he won in a competition of a famous fragrance brand for men doesn't make him a HERO. And the stupid Filipino pride is out of place here and so is heroism.

It doesn't make any sense. Pakiexplain.

this is the first of many posts of yours that i agree with.. maglagot jud ko maka kita sa tv nga i panghambog nila nga ang ni buhat ani ang ni buhat adto ang nakadaog ani ang nakadaog adto kay pinoy.. maglagot pud ko maka dungug anang pinoy pride kay nagtoo ang mga taw nga nindot na, pinoy pride is still pride and pride is a bad thing..

i example nato ang esports scene like dota2.. international communities mock filipinos because most filipino teams are so full of themselves even if they show poor results.. puros lang pinoy pride pinoy pride, PUSO PUSO.. loslos
