for those interested to convert CD+G karaoke to video w/ custom video background for playback sa DVD player, etc
here's a rough guide -

Use Karafun Player w/ Editor ( yes, the older version ) to convert CD+G to AVI
- When converting CD+G to AVI, set the karaoke background to a color you can easily remove later on w/ a video editor of your choice
- Use video editor's chroma keys to remove the karaoke's background color. Trim, sync and edit as you wish.
