    reasons:
    1) if we get golden eagle... that means we are moving towards F16 and variants...
    2) our posture currently is towards interim
    3) uncle doesnt approves it... remember they can be very persuasive...
    4) PAF had been eyeing F16 since then...
    5) training and tech transfer...

the possible reason can goes and on... as to what are the "REAL" reason... we dont know... and im pretty sure our AFP knows what they are doing...

In line with its efforts to modernize the military, the Department of National Defense (c) has announced plans of acquiring a shore-based missile system for P6.5 billion.

Patrick Velez, DND vice chair for the bids and awards committee, said once acquired, the weapon will be placed under the control and supervision of the Army.

The shore-based missiles will be carried out through "limited source bidding."

Velez defines limited source bidding a process where certain companies are invited to submit bids for a project.

They can reproduce, but I don't think they can mass manufacture them AFAIK. At least not yet.

I am not keen on the GA's manufacturing capabilities nor the quality of their m4/m16 reproduction, so I'll take your word for it. Pero if that's the case I wonder why they can't just opt for locally-made M4 instead of having to offer Remington the contract for the R4.

    hi elvandesantos

Let me clarify my question because your answer is not what I expected to be it is.. I also just noticed it now that my question is not what I had in mind... lol

what I am trying to get at is this.. I think some of the guys here did get my point. So what I had in mind was this,

Is this how they always fold the blades like, u know with all those things he remove .. inserting something in some pts in the chopper's body and putting those "red" supports after.

yeah patience is a virtue.. everybody knows that even 2nd grades i think.. but during emergency situation wherein life of a person maybe at risk.. 15mins could spell life or death.

Here's an example of a chopper with blades being folded. There's a video demo at the bottom right side.

mas mahal ang locally made M4 carbine AFAIK... kay some major parts are only available sa US.... or perhaps China

ANG GA, SHOOTERS, ARMSCOR, FLORO, UDMC..... ingun ogun dayun nga proudly made in the PH.... pero and Barrel kay import gikan remington and bushmaster etc. mahal sad sila oie...
