naa ko nakastorya sa una na french canadian na niingon na naa daw Alliance Francaise de Cebu sa USC. naa daw french courses offered. ako gakat-on kog italian, french, spanish. nagkat-on lang ko pinaagi sa pagtanaw ug tv5, RAI, ug TVE ug pagbasa ug mga libro ug forum ug chat sa internet.Originally Posted by Salma
italian is much more simple than spanish. spanish may look closer to italian because they both pronounce letters clearly unlike french which is nasal but in truth, it is french that is closer to italian when we look into its vocabulary. some example: giornale, journal, diario; parlare, parler, hablar; formaggio, fromage, queso... and so on...
don't you know that english language is full of french words?
examples: ambiance, boutique, buffet, bon voyage, camouflage, corsage, debut, deja vu, entourage, envoy, fiancee, facade, faux pas, garage, journal, lingerie, renaissance, protege, vis a vis and so on...
while our very own languages in the philippines are already full of spanish words.
murag kadungog ko naa man daw free lessons sa USP.Originally Posted by abuot

@thadzonline
yup, i'm interested in exchanging language lessons with you.
i can speak 5 languages fluently but i can read, write and understand several more languages philippine and non-philippines.
by the way, what you call dialects may not be dialects but languages.
@amico, dialects lang usa ako itawag kay wala pa man ma establish ang uban, like Hiligaynon could trace its roots to Cebuano and even Tagalog, Bikolano and Waray
