R9 280X on a 600 ~ 650 Watts PSU

I'm planning on buying a new R9 280X probably Sapkhires Vapor or toxic edition. Now I read the sapphires requiremnts for there cards and found out that it requires at least 750W PSU and I also read mostly in tomshardware forum that a r9 280x can run on 600w range PSU.

Now any one out there can share some thought about this? I found it better if I hear from my fellow istoryans than from others.

bro, imong wattage sa PSU is not only for the GPU but sa imong tibuok nga system. Dili pwede lapas imong whole wattage sa imong PSU. try input tanan components nimo diri then check if ok ra imong PSU sa whole system. if not invest ug more wattage nga PSU.

i thought 250 watts ra ang usage sa r9 280x , well if im wrong, kinahanglan jud mu palit na pud ug new PSU ani, bag-o ra gani nag sleeving, atay, haha

that's Crossfirex bro... multiple GPU term for AMD...

a 500W true rated PSU is enough to provide juice for the whole system... if you'll do OC... mura'g gamay2x na'g head room ang 500W if mag furmark... hehehe... kun games lang @ full load, below 300W ang power consumption sa R9 280x... if furmark or synthetic bench mark, dako kaayo @ full load... nearing the 400 W na sya for the GPU alone...

for benchmark...

gigabyte R9 280x OC... kani, card power consumption ni... higop sa kuryente using Furmark... the same sila lamoy sa HD 7990... but in gaming, 216 ~ 244W lang ang card power consumption in playing Crysis 2 @ 1080p on Extreme profile...

Dako ra kaayo ug kaon sa kurente ang 280x. Kun mag 270x dako raba kaayo ilang difference sa performance? 270x mka play naba na ug BF4 full or med settings?
