If you were hoping the Kaveri APU's Steamroller CPU cores would make their way into AMD's FX processor lineup, I have some bad news. The company's latest roadmap (PDF) shows Piledriver-based FX processors persisting through 2014. The FX family could be updated after that, but it looks like no major changes are planned for next year.

Naa man to inside scoop nga AM3+ is not dead gikan sa amd official nga employee. Daghan kay ni question mark ilang moves. hmmmmmm

i think they spend more time in R&D on their new processor. Hopefully na naay significant improvements ang bag o na processors ilang e release.

Well anyway FX8350 is still very capable. Tan-awon nimo mga games karon, multi-threaded na. If ipadayon lang na nga trend Piledriver can still compete.

VERY CAPABLE and SATISFACTORY is the most correct word to describe AMD gaming performance at the moment.

performance competition has already been won by other camp long time ago.

eyeing for second place between two rivals is not competing, it's an acceptance of a fact.

except for power consumption and bragging rights, FX8350 is a great procie.

and satisfaction is a personal thing.
