otherwise... the Philippines will always be cursed as the country run like hell by Filipinos....jump ship while you still can, or you will eventually sink and drown with her.
i'd rather sink with it than turn my back...call me patriotic but i'm not leaving my motherland...that attitude convincing people to leave this country is nothing different from those corrupt politicians...

we are all part of the problem, let's be part of the solution...leaving the country in this state is and will never be the solution

does it matter if a ship sinks by herself or with its inhabitants who "patriotically" chose to drown with her?

no.. it sinks just the same.

rhetoric in nationalistic theme only helps to suppress the real practical options available for free will of choice.

goodbye to you while i still can..

I will never have an identity if I will relinquish my being a Filipino and deny Philippines as my homeland.
Simply, I look like, think, and behave like a filipino, I have my own culture and in other country I will never be considered
as a part of them but always look upon as an outsider.
NO, I will stay here until I die and of course contribute for the betterment not to forsake my beloved Philippines,
my only home within this planet.

    sa Purok Kalubihan....

seriously, it seems so easy for some of us who are enjoying the comforts of a foreign land earning decent wages... and still claim claim Phellippines as home.. the recent media frenzy of "pinoy pride". I find it draped in hypocrisy to say "I will never leave", when the very soil one is walking upon is as foreign as an apple tree in devastated Leyte... I cringe at the lame phrase "I will stay here until I die" when one's passport shows one has not breathed Phellippine air for more than one month during the last ten years having been toiling away in foreign lands...

no... just gibberish.. all talk here.

as you are asking a personal question, I invoke my right of self-incrimination... peace..

It is just the same as running... you will know what awaits at the finish line when you get there... you never waste your energies pondering on "what ifs" while you are still on track... what ifs are for people who sit on the fence.
