the government should keep a reserve system where all medical personnel (as long as they're still citizens/residents of the country) are registered and kept on reserve, then deployed in times of severe emergencies to the frontlines/as triage. and they should be paid for that kind of work. i really think that working at the frontlines is the toughest field to be in, so it's only fair that compensation is valuated at such. how are we supposed to help the people really in need if the triage personnel are volunteers only? isnt it funny how we pay celebrities tons of money to show us some twerking or sing off-key or just by being involved in scandals, when our people that are working as pillars for the continual health/growth of the country (teachers/educators, healthcare professionals, heck even mothers themselves) are barely paid, if at all?
