Its so funny to see how the Filipino communities are so divided even in the face of calamity. There are those who are all-supportive without any complaints. There are also those who are all-complaint without any support at all. And those who fall in between.

Focus on the victims and not on the lapses and inadequacy of the government or any agency involved.

This, I think, is also what the critics are doing. Leyte is not only a victim of a natural calamity, it is also a victim of our Government's ineptitude.

I think it's a good thing that the netizens are bringing all the hate out in the open. With the help of social media, the world is now a bit more aware of how inconsequential our government is. The noise the netizens are making will hopefully help in preventing future mishaps. And of course, people just love to hate.

Whether we complain or no, I do believe filipinos are more or less united when it comes to how we see our gov't.
