I applied thru Fluor's online website and after a day, the HR called and told me that I am more suited for another position rather than the one that I had applied for. They scheduled me for an interview and exam (2 days ago). The exam I took was just an IQ-type, no technical exam given.. After a 2-hour job specific interview, the interviewer told me that she will recommend me to HR. I believe she is not the DM because she told me that If ever the DM is not satisfied with her recommendations, I will be scheduled for an interview with the DM. Now I am waiting for the update. Normally, how long does it take to have an update?

Fluor is one of the best EPC company. I have many classmates in college who are in Fluor Alabang. Most of them are in the Piping Department. I agree with you that you can transfer to other Fluor offices. One of my classmates(Australian Immigrant) asked if he can transfer to Fluor Australia. Now he is there.

a DM's schedule fluctuates, sometimes busy, sometimes very very busy. So better wait for around 2 weeks. if nothing happens within that time, you can contact the HR that handled your application. Follow it up.

Don't worry too much. If you survived 2 straight hours of interview, you can survive two weeks waiting.
