so all muslims should be terrorists then?

first of all corruption contradicts the Christian doctrine.
sadly, some clergy are doing the act but surely we can both agree that not all of them do.
therefore, still not a reason to generalize
this kind of point of view actually promotes prejudice towards others which directly contradicts Christ's commandment about Loving God and others. sorry

bro what i meant was the clergy.. they belong to same, one sector. im not referring to all Christians nor Muslims in general as what you mentioned above. The Kingdom of God is within us man di ba. So we can love God and others in different ways than listening to a priest preaching God's words. They can use the Word of God to gain money/profit. Though we can say that not all of them, but for most, that's already a practice that the Church can never stop eventually.

mao gani bro, wa man ko muingun nga imu gi generalize ang tibuok Christians or Muslims. LOL
the point i was trying to make really is you or anyone else cannot and should not generalize.
espeically if we are talking about God's love and all that jazz...
suko ta sa ubang pari kay korakot..blah blah blah..pero kita pud diay to perting pang-generalize, Christian pa ta ani?hehehe ,
our sins do look awful when we see others doing it... tsk!

priests are considered to be the successor of the apostles.
as long as they proclaim God's word and glory like the apostles did
as long as what they teach is in accordance to the scripture and tradition likt the apostles did
as long as their counsel is within the Christian theology and not heretical
then i don't see anything wrong with it..

kanang ilang binuhatan sa tago or sa publico man, wa na tay labot ana.. ang Ginoo nay bahala ana nila..

uu mutoo ko na the kingdom of heaven is within us but Jesus warned us to be vigilant for though the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
di ba kaha basin nagpadala naka sa imung bati nga pagtan.aw sa kaparian hence you resorted to stereotyping? hmmmm...

cge daw bro, mangutana ko..do you believe nalipay ang Ginoo sa imung paggeneralize sa mga pari nga mga korakot ug negosyo lang ang tumong? hehehe..

most clergy are doing the evil deeds? meaning mas nilabaw ang mga badlongon kaysa sa mga tarong?
naa kay ikapa kita nga basis ani bro? a statistical fact perhaps?
and even so, does this give you, or anyone else the slightest right to pass such condescending judgment?
we don't generalize Christians, Muslims, even criminals pero mga pari ok ra? hmmmm...

You always point out nga i generalize all priest are bad... I said, most, that doesn't mean all... I don't have any basis, my apologies bro, but sometimes we have a common sense that provides us answers to all our questions... I don't want to argue with you this. As long as we all have faith in Him then that's good, we all be happy. I know you have more things to shell out compared to me. Im just here to comment and share my fuss. Thanks bro for sharing yours. I rest my case.

di ba dili ka mutoo ug pari because negosyo ra ilang tumong? isn't this a case of generalization?
it's similar to saying, i don't like making friends with Atheists 'cause they always attack my Faith.(we both know that not all atheist do this..) <-- another example of generalization.
    looks familiar right?

you may wanna review your posts bro.. you'll see why a generalization has been perceived.

sadly, putting labels on people takes a lot more than just common sense.
if your common sense tells you that most of the priests are just businessmen then the least you could do is to back yourself up with facts and datas.
don't apologize to me bro, you've done me no wrong perhaps to the poor priests instead.. LOL

same here bro, i'm just expressing my thougts about your views.
speaking of faith in Him,i believe our Faith is justified by our works.. passing premature judgment on others isn't exactly what i have imagined as an effective expression of the Christian faith. sorry.. thanks for the interesting chat by the way.

PS: years ago, i held the same point of view same as yours towards priests, the religious and even religion itself so kasabut ko nimu

OT: bai noy, sorry to say but ang mga natural nga buutan nga tao, pag naa sa seminaryo, mugawas segurado... pwerteng daghanag kabuang sa seminaryo nga ang buutan nga tao kung dili muhawa makat-on na lng ug binu-ang... mao nga pag graduate aw ready na to do mga kabuang sa parokya... hapit na time nila when the true Christ will face them... papas gyud na sila tanan hehehe... wa na ko kabalo kung nus-a ko last naka tong tong simbahan, murag pagkasal ra man seguro namo... nangumpisal mi ang pari bahong alak, magsilbi na hehehe...

OnT: Jesus said "The Kingdom of God is within you". So the real temple of God is my body so diri pud ko tigsimba. Jesus never taught to worship God in church buildings/temples or outside the body, suko kaayo siya ana sa mga pari during his time. So kaning mga pari are telling lies, deceiving to worship God in their church buildings... church church but collection center diay to nila hehehe sorry bro...
