1st, I'm not a network guru..., 2nd, your description of your stuff is quite confusing , 3rd, I have not yet experienced using dual wan routers! 0_o

anyways, for using dual wan routers with your question of DHCP Server Clashes..., the short answer is NO, they will never collide (unless you intentionally )

for the simplest setup. each ISP's modem/router is setup as-is, nothing more is needed configuring, plug in the dual wan router and configure it as per usual stuff. If all is good, then go to speedtest.net and see if what speeds are you in now (take note of your ISP's speed of each), it will sum up almost with the 2 ISP's that you have.

natively all dual wan routers are configured at loadbalancing by default (what the hell is the use of using dual wan routers..., diba ^_^)

its just like configuring a regular router, dual lang na imo.

BUT..., if you add VPN, port forward, VOIP, ddns and stuff and all..., then you'll have a good headache ahead of you ^_^

+1 ko ani. Dual WAN router is ready to accept two connections no need to reconfigure. The configuration part comes in with port forward and other stuff that will point the request to a particular machine that in connection internally by the router. The default settings should do the basic stuff for you.

Not a guru here but a reader.

yes it can accept two connections. but my concern here is how to merge the two connections from two different dhcp servers(which is windows server operating systems) with same ranges of ip scopes.

kanang dili sila mag conflict ba.

actually, what i did is i add another router so that the other ip address which enters the dual wan router will be different from the dhcp server range.
in that scenario, nag add ko ug additional router which is dugang sa gasto.

Murag dili man siguro na mag conflict boss ky dual man gud siya daan so intended jud unta na iya default setup na mo accept and merge the two connections. Peru dili ko sure pud, huwat lang ta sa response sa mga expert jud about ani. Usa pud para sa mga expert out there same raba ni siya ug technology or process sa dual NIC na mga computers?

please recommend me on the proper thing to do especially tong naka try na ug set up ani nga situation.

    salamat
So sa current setup each DHCP server is on different LAN/subnet? Then if mag gamit ka ug Dual WAN router ma merge inyo LAN, ang pangutana ug mag conflict ba ang DHCP server. = DILI, e configure nimo ang 2 Servers as DHCP Cluster/Failover.

    WOW!!! dual WAN router

unsa na na brand? I previously worked for cisco 2006-2011 and so far wa pako ka encounter troubleshoot bisan set up was 2wan rtr.... (bisan all our/all purpose/allbrand support ko)

Pero all I know for a fact is MOST of the time, ang networking device, mas daghan sya features, mas dali madaut or mas short ang lifespan.

Pero since dual wan mana sya, I dont see anything wrong with it man kay it is designed to serve its purpose.... kung wireless WAN rtr na sya ako ra makit-an na di maayo ani kay ang dual SSID na makaconflict usahay... better yet google it sa databas sa inyung 2wan rtr... maybe u could tell us the brand and model number boss.... Nindut ni sya na topic dah! Ma exercise akong gataya na utok sa netwoprking!

pleas tell us the model number and brand so we could google
