not as exciting as i expected but a time filler nonetheless

some parts have become monotonous, its the same all over.
its like we can already guess a harry potter sequence of events.
opens in the muggle world, harry gets bullied, some conflict arises, arrives at hogwarts, welcomes new teachers, hagrid, voldemort presents its challenge, blah blah blah.
there's nothing new anymore.

but it's still okay. just losing some spice.

It was just another boring installment intended to squeeze more profit out of the Harry Potter franchise. I only watched it for the visual effects and yet it still failed to please me. The battle between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters was totally ridiculous. The only time I got excited was when Voldemort and Dumbledore faced each other in a deathmatch of wizards.

Dumbledore Rocks! And as always... Happy Potter failed to become a far more interesting character more than ever.

Well in all fairness, I think its the best HP movie so far. Something that Non-readers would enjoy...

But for me, the movies never do justice to the books... Everytime I watch an HP movie, it's always "Hey, where
's this scene, or that scene?" or "I don't remember this bit being in the book."... I was a bit ticked off at Dumbledore looking a bit weak in the movie when he was moderately kicking ass in the book...

i agree... being an avid reader of the series, HP movies were always a dissapointment for me... well, of course, this usually happens when a movie is just an adaptation of a book ( except maybe for "memoirs of a geisha" and "lord of the rings" trilogy, in this cases, i like the movie versions more than the book)... the thing about harry potter is that unlike the LOTR series, some viewers who have not read the book can't fully grasp the story ... maybe because they have compressed it too much such that some important details are left out... but I still enjoy watching it though...

Haven't seen the movie yet as of now.. But as many may have noticed, bati jud kaayu ang movie kaysa sa book.. tsk tsk tsk.. tapulan ayu ang mga Producers and Directors gud.. they don't care about the storyline.. they only care about making a great (yet misleading) trailer/reviews, and it's plots are too different from that of the book, not to mention money-makin'..

Ang bag-o jud na Dumbledore ang maka-sapot oi.. samot na sa 4th movie..

kay if pareha sa movie and sa book, wala na mo basa sa ako book...
kay di naman mo basa ang readers kay pareha ra man sulod.

for me, ok ra if naay changes sa movie and the book...
too much expectations ang maka disappoint sa movie.. exciting man gud...
