    unsay hilas bro?

pasabot na , hilas pud na nanawagan nga mga media men | nag rally to make the inept officials to resign?

ikaw mao wa kasabot ,maypa mubasa ka ug news.

    picture this.

these people are around for many presidential terms already.

did anyone form their agency publicly accept that they have actually did gave wrong information?

and called the office of the president | the senate etc PUBLICLY?

that they can't reliably give information concerning weather ang precautions because they don't have equipment?

    naa d i?

as payer of taxes, i am ranting because these people are just inept.

can't stand to say to president because afraid of losing their job?

    that just pathetic

ngano mag punga-punga man if they have remote sensors installed?

sila ra tawon pasak on sa bukid para mukuha ug readings and check the equipment.

    now, this:

they mis reported the epicenter being carmen and not sagbayan.

    then what happen?

all the help and support influx to carmen leaving the real devastation in sagbayan hanging to care for themselves.

and wa man ko kabasa nag public apology ang philvocs and calling everyone to put all remaining efforts for sagbayan.

    dili nila trabahao na?

it's called moral responsibility to the people who pay for their salaries..

if taga sagbayan paka , who would feel the same and more.

but kay dili man ka taga sagbayan and all other who say im wrong, mao u can say that.

i am not personal to them

i am calling them to either stand up and do their job rightly and ask for equipment

or otherwise get out of the job.

So did the USGS. ESCM, too. It was only after detailed study of the data that they were able to determine the true epicenter of the initial quake. Do you know which agency was among the first to report the corrected findings for the epicenter? PHIVOLCS. The USGS was lagging behind.

On a separate note, here's an interesting website I found for those looking to help toward the quake victims:

#ReliefPH: Help the Visayas earthquake victims

There's a map near the bottom with locations for the various evacuation centers. Sadly, no contact information can be found for those evacuation centers. I can't also seem to find any kind of people finder service similar to the one set up during the earthquake in New Zealand. Does one exist? If anyone knows of any, please do post it.

Mao na kay nag monitor man jud ko sa phivolcs right after ug sa radio kay lagi naay mga taw tang ghunahuna sad... If ang ilang reason is inadequate ilang instruments then why would they attempt to forecast a data with confidence, then when ask about the data collected from other agency, ni ana pa jud na mas accurate sila kay naa sila sa do.ol...

There is no question with regards sa ilang ability.. Of course lisod or impossible ang mo predict kay too many variables to consider sa present technology pero when you listen to them man gud.. Mura jud ug true oi...

What if kung walay lain agency nag monitor ug sila ra atong gsaligan... Dawat ta lang maskin unsa.. Ganahan diay mo ana..

Don't you think there should be at least a level of accuracy on the data ilang I.forward for public consumption...

Dili man gud tanan taw ug ingnon linog 7.2. Kasagaran inig ingon 7.2 I.assume na nga mao diay to... Kusuga oi... Unknowingly na mas kusug ang center.. And because of the rareness of such phenomena.. Not all can really gauge kung mao jud to... Some people first timers adto na ka kusug.

Ang ako is kung Dili sure ug Dili enough ilang instrument /data to pinpoint exactly the magnitude and location, I.klaro unta ug Dili mo.insist... Unless sureness na... May not be helpful to me personally pero I am sure for some gamit na...

For those seeking to go to Bohol via the ferry in Argao, I heard that the ferry at Taloot pier now goes to Tagbilaran instead of Loon due to the damage there. Ferry times are 4AM and 12NN (don't know the return times). Cost is around P200/person.

i will go this nov 1 to 3 in my relatives place catigbian bohol... wala pajud me contact nila.. tupad ra kau sa carmen

  9. #1159
Good luck, @agent_sky. I tried looking for ways of contacting Catigbian, but the only thing I could find was the phone number of their police station: 038 507-3106. I don't know if that number is still valid, but if it is, perhaps they can help you get in touch with friends and relatives.

For phone numbers of the various police offices in Bohol, see here.
