    another aftershock...

USGS has something like 30 min delay for non-US quakes, iirc. If you have an Android phone, I found a better app than the one I posted earlier: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...com.topstcn.eq It uses multiple data sources. I set it to notify me of quakes greater than 3.0+ in the area.

Here's the detail of the latest aftershock:

Ahaka sad aning building diin naa diri ang internet cafe oi. Mo uyug man jud ug mg aftershock. Anway, mao ni ingon sa PHIVOLCS regarding sa aftershocks nga masinati pa nato:

Following the magnitude 7.9 earthquake which hit Luzon on July 16, 1990, Phivolcs recorded aftershocks for a year, listing down at least 20,000 aftershocks from the powerful quake, although most of them were hardly felt and were only detected by instruments.
Phivolcs tells public: Expect aftershocks, but don

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ibration&hl=en

im using this to (sort-of) monitor the vibrations in real-time. and give an alarm if it passes the level i chose. too bad it wont run in the background.

Is this the one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ion.monitoring ? I got that, too, since it seems to work in the background. Do you know what the vibration threshold to use for the different earthquake intensities? I want to configure it to warn me if an Intensity 3 or greater shake is happening, but I can't find the info for the vibration threshold for that.

So if you put the app in your pocket and you dance like the Harlem Shake, it will say Magnitude 7? Or which sensor does it use? Proximity? NFC?
