Again with the whole Islam is forced thing. I keep having to tell ppl how it really is, yet no one wants to listen. I took these pics of my own Qur'an. Proof that Islam is not to be forced upon anyone. I certainly wasn't! And the tolerance and respect we have for the people of the Book.

Interesting that you posted Qur'an 2:256 "Let there be no compulsion in religion..."

When an Imam in the UK was asked about the penalty for apostasy in Islam, he gave this answer: "If it's an Islamic country, then the Shariah's very clear: APOSTASY is dealt with the DEATH PENALTY."

Look at this exchange in a British TV program called The Big Debate: Penalty for Apostasy in Islam where that quote came from.

Was that Imam wrong to say that? If YES, then are you saying that you, a fairly recent Muslim convert, know more about Islam than that Imam, a Muslim since birth? If NO, then the DEATH PENALTY for APOSTASY contradicts your Qur'an.
