air mo dire lantaw aie - CESAFI - Season 13
google then pag my time![]()
I couldn't say Tallo solely deserves the Cesafi MVP this year because there are other good players in the league, but given that he has made a great impact to the team not only with his scoring ability but also his leadership then I'd have to give it to him. Daghan mosulti dili maayo si Tallo, I would agree to only a very limited degree. He has the tendency to make unforced errors because of his creativity with the ball. We have to admit, he has the sickest handles that we can see in Cebu to date. He is a natural creator and with a wicked ball handling skills so we can say there's a lot of promise on this kid. Only time will tell when he will polish his game and improve on his areas of opportunity, and I believe it will indeed be only a matter of time. I hope to see him back on track and hopefully get another crack at it in the UAAP. If he goes on with SWU, after he's done there's always the D-League for him to prove his naysayers wrong.
It would be unfair to compare him with Ravena at this point. Ravena is also backed up by all that hype that goes all the way back when he was young. He also has a PBA player for a father, that makes them even. But what makes Ravena seem to stand out over Tallo at this point is the hype. All eyes were on Ravena growing up, relegating the equally-talented Tallo to the background. Now that both players have grown up, Ravena got an easy ticket to not only to the country's premier collegiate league but also he got to play for one of its elite teams, all because of the hype that he continues to get until now. Unfortunately, the hype that Tallo was getting is not as extensive as that of Kiefer's. This debate over who's better between these two could be different had Tallo been given the same amount of publicity and got the fancy of the UAAP teams and consequently gotten respect by coaches and been given a starting role by a UAAP coach. We would have been graced with a great duel from these two by now. BUT, this wasn't the case clearly. So, Kiefer remains to be better in the eyes of many.
Just my two cents....
