Mostly a Refresh of the ongoing 7xxx Series GPU's with some optimizations (Wow, AMD pulled an Nvidia on us.. hahaha)

Pero ang R9 290X ang most exiting part, apparently $500 rani for Near-GTX Titan performance.

Basically :

Radeon R7 260X = $139 Radeon 7870
Radeon R9 270X = $200 Radeon 7950
Radeon R9 280X = $300 Radeon 7970 Ghz Edition

Para nako, if barato ra locally and the new Graphics API that AMD is developing takes off (Mantle), then Nvidia should be a little bit worried... Which is good! Competition always helps drive technology forward.

sa akoa lang, user man gyud ko sa products aning "only competing GPUs companies to date"... kumbate gyud ang performance sa mga offerings ani nila duha... for a gaming GPU, mas bang for the money ang mga offerings sa AMD... kay lagi, barato man compared sa green team. but, kahibaw man ang Nvidia na superior ang performance sa offerings nila in the "over-all performance comparison"... in gaming, productivity apps and eng'g/scientific calculation... maong, taas2x-san nila'g presyo ang offerings nila...

the realm of GPU computation is Nvidia's turf... bahala na'g ilaha na, gaming man atoang concern... hehehe... go go go AMD...

example lang kay ang mga video editing apps, AutoCAD, Simulation software (ANSYS)... even the worlds most powerful supercomputer for 2013 (located in Guangzhou, China... the "Tianhe-1A") used Intel (Xeon) and Nvidia (Tesla)... it leaves the "Cray Titan" in a very wide margin... the Titan is powered by both AMD (Opteron) and Nvidia (Tesla)...

more probably .. ^_^ ila jd na I-price drop pra maka-compete sa market.. mao ni ang advantage sa mga end user.. bsta nay competition ang mabulahan ang end user or ang customer.. Plan na pd ko ilis ug GPU.. ^_^ bsta mogawas na sa market ang AMD ATI Radeon.. ^_^

yup, nag price drop dha pero, mura'g 1x ra... diri, 2x na nag price drop ang AMD... gahapon, tag 1.9K rmb... 13,680 php equivalent ang mga factory OC'ed HD 7970 Boost Edition... haven't checked today the priced though...
