Correct! Choose your words as not to offend others. Using profane language How immature. This will be my last post for this thread, hope you find the perfect solution TS.

hi dwarfy, solignum is a wood preservative. not a bait. lolz! termite bodies are fragile. they easily die. that's why they make those mud tunnels to protect from the outside environment.

home brew remedies online are borax + boric acid. with 60% borax + 40% boric acid give maximum solubility of borates in water.

other termiticide i've found was Agenda 10SC. it's toxic. its used for pre-construction soil poisoning. but i used it directly to the mud tunnels with a very low dosage or very diluted.

base on ratio and proportion on the label. around 5ml of Agenda to 250ml of water. but i found it to be too strong that the termites easily die. defeats the purpose of them bringing the termiticide back to the colony. so what i did, dilute it more. with only 1ml Agenda to 250ml water. all i did was inject using a syringe to the mud tunnels. subterranean termites are really very very stubborn and persistent. they always come back after a few days. i never stopped injecting after a few days.. it took around 2-3 weeks before they disappear. i think it worked as advertised. 2-3weeks to wipe out a colony.

i've used that around our lot area. even if beyond the house. as long as i can see termite mud tunnels and live termites marching. i'll inject them with that mixture. funny thing is, when those subterranean termites disappear. a new breed/kind replaced them.

the subterranean termites were small in size, slow moving(kulang sa energy.lolz!) and the soldiers are like unicorns. with only one center horn. not big jaws. what replaced them was the wet wood termites. bigger workers, more fatter and moves really fast like cockroaches scramming when you disturb the wood they are feeding. and their soldiers are much bigger. big red oversized heads and big jaws.

the 3rd kind, the drywood termites. which resides on the old house. is quite difficult to detect. unless you see some frass around. they eat on the insides of the wood. which makes the wood hollow. the internals gone.. though they are less destructive than the subterranean types. but never the less. they can really cause damage in time.

if only thos FLIR or thermal imaging cameras are cheap.. hehehe! one can easily detect where they are hiding and feasting. and from there you can concentrate your attack with termiticides. but without it. you have to content on the frass debris for their presence and constant inspection of knocking the wood if its hollow or not lolz!

i bought my Agenda 10SC from manila. Just shipped it here to cebu as I can't seem to find sellers here in Cebu.

another good environment "friendly" borate is the commercial grade Tim-Bor. that too is hard to find here in Cebu. again, very costly if ordered from manila.

thanks for the suggestion. but solignum is just a wood preservative. its just a deterrent. the termite would just look elsewhere where there's no solignum. not practical to apply solignum to the entire house- you need gallons or even barrels of it.

so far, i'm happy and very satisfied with this agenda. the cheapest among the termiticides in the market and yet effective. no more stubborn subterranean termites around. lolz!

the aftermath of the termiticide Agenda after 24 hours after bombardment.. lolz! dropping like flies on the floor from the ceiling. hope some drop dead on the main colony as termites are known to cannibalized their dead - spreading further the termiticide to others in the colony, the domino effect.

at low dosage, they don't know what hit them.. some still continue to walk and forage along the applied path.. if on average 30k eggs per day laid by the queen.. it would take some time to annihilate the colony..

at least now, i don't feel so helpless that nothing can be done to stop them from 24/7 eating the old house. lolz!
