I didn't know that the paref schools have this policy of somesort..and I really want that if I have a child, ako pa school diri (if ka afford ko.. lols)

This policy is just not right. it's based on a fantasy-ideology thing. Usa pa, daghan kaau ko na ilhan na taga springdale na batch namo na kiat lang ang nawung.. tsk tsk tsk..

if I may ask, unsa imo consideration diay before ngano moingon ka na gusto nimo diri ipaskwela imo anak?

why would you enroll your kid in a school whose policy you don't agree to in the first place, there are lots of other schools out there... we have the freedom of choice...

PAREF Springdale school is one of the best and most respected schools is cebu. It has one of the highest educational standards in cebu. Simple solution to your dilemma, if you dont like the system then dont go there.

point niya is...ngano UNFAIR ni nga school when it comes to accepting students nga dle completo ang pamilya.

Unsa mang unfair ana nga dili sila modawat ug child from a single parent? They are entitled to their school policy. Ang unfair kanang pugson ang tanang tao nga okay ra ang single parent. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as wala ta naka violate sa Law.

Schools have the right to set qualifications and standards as basis for accepting students. It's not always about the money. If our children cannot meet the standards (academic or otherwise) of that particular school then they won't be accepted. We just have to accept that. While we have the right to have access to education, we cannot always choose the exact kind of education. Besides, if I were a single parent, I would not want to send my child to a school where having a single parent raising my child is frowned upon. This may cause my child to feel left out or ridiculed. As others here have correctly said, there are so many good schools in Cebu. Kung imong anak wala ma dawat sa Springdale for whatever reason, ngano ipamugos man nimo? It's like you are saying that Springdale is the only good school in Cebu. Wa man kaha mo kauyon sa Springdale tungod sa ilang policy, di pangita mo ug lain eskwelahan, di ba?
